Monte Loureiro · Version of 12 October 2026 This is a translation. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
1. Scope and operator
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to accommodation bookings at Monte Loureiro made through the website monteloureiro.pt.
1.2 Monte Loureiro is a local accommodation establishment (alojamento local) registered in the National Register of Local Accommodation under no. 155706/AL, located at Monte Loureiro, Vila do Bispo, 8650-298 Raposeira, Portugal.
1.3 The operator and party to the accommodation contract is Roberta Romanato, sole trader, tax no. (NIF) 319508226, business address Monte Loureiro, Vila do Bispo, 8650-298 Raposeira, Portugal ("Operator"). Contact: monteloureiro.ccca@gmail.com, +351 920 330 021.
1.4 The property is owned by CCCA — Clube de Campismo do Concelho de Almada, which is not a party to accommodation contracts concluded through this website.
1.5 Bookings made through third-party platforms are governed by that platform's terms. Stays by CCCA members (sócios) are governed by the conditions and rules of CCCA, which differ from these Terms; these Terms do not apply to such stays. Group and whole-house bookings are governed by section 12.
1.6 "Guest" means the person making the booking. The Guest is responsible for compliance with these Terms by the persons accompanying them.
2. Booking request and conclusion of contract
2.1 Bookings are requested through the booking engine embedded in the website, provided by Lodgify. Prices and availability are those shown in the booking engine at the time of the request.
2.2 Before sending the request, the Guest can review and correct the data entered. The booking request is an offer by the Guest. The contract is concluded when the Operator accepts the request and sends the booking confirmation to the email address given by the Guest. If the Operator does not accept the request, it will inform the Guest; in that case no payment is due.
2.3 The confirmation states the dates, room, number of guests, total price and the applicable payment and cancellation conditions.
2.4 Where the conditions shown for a specific booking in the booking engine or in the confirmation differ from these Terms, the specific conditions of that booking prevail.
2.5 The Guest making the booking must be at least 18 years old. Minors are only accommodated when accompanied by a responsible adult.
3. Prices and taxes
3.1 Prices are stated in euros and include applicable taxes.
3.2 The price covers only the services stated in the booking.
4. Payment
4.1 The total price is due upon confirmation of the booking.
4.2 Payment is made using the payment methods shown in the booking engine or in the confirmation. For bank transfers, payment must be made within the period stated in the confirmation.
4.3 If payment is not received on time, the Operator will notify the Guest by email and grant an additional period of 3 days. For bookings with arrival within 7 days of the confirmation, payment is due immediately and no additional period is granted. If payment is not made as set out in this section, the Operator may cancel the booking; in that case the Guest owes no payment.
4.4 An invoice is issued in accordance with the law.
5. No right of withdrawal
Under Article 17(1)(l) of Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014 of 14 February, the right of withdrawal from distance contracts does not apply to accommodation contracts that provide for a specific date or period of performance. Cancellation is governed solely by section 6.
6. Cancellation by the Guest and no-show
6.1 Cancellations must be made in writing by email to monteloureiro.ccca@gmail.com. The date of receipt applies.
6.2 If the booking is cancelled up to 30 days before the arrival date, the amount paid is refunded in full. For later cancellations, no refund is made.
6.3 In the event of a no-show, no refund is made. In the event of early departure, there is no entitlement to a refund for unused nights; the Operator may, as a courtesy, refund them in full or in part.
6.4 We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
7. Changes and cancellation by the Operator
7.1 Changes to dates or number of guests requested by the Guest are subject to availability and confirmation by the Operator.
7.2 If the booked room cannot be provided for reasons not attributable to the Guest, the Operator may allocate an equivalent or better room at no extra cost. If this is not possible or the Guest does not accept it, the Operator will refund all amounts paid in full.
7.3 If the stay cannot take place due to force majeure, amounts paid for services not provided will be refunded.
8. Arrival, departure and identification
8.1 Check-in: between 3:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Later arrival is only possible by prior arrangement and is subject to a fee of €15 between 9:00 pm and midnight and €25 between midnight and 7:00 am. Check-out: by 11:00 am.
8.2 The minimum stay is the one shown in the booking engine for the requested dates; as a rule 2 nights, and longer during holiday periods. Where the booking engine allows it, 1-night stays are possible subject to the supplement shown there.
8.3 The Guest informs the Operator of the expected arrival time in advance.
8.4 On arrival, all guests present a valid identity document. For foreign nationals, the Operator is legally required to report the stay to the authorities (Article 15 of Law no. 23/2007 of 4 July). The Operator may refuse accommodation to anyone who does not present an identity document.
9. Occupancy and use
9.1 Each room may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the booking. Other persons may not stay overnight without the Operator's prior consent.
9.2 Rooms and common areas are for accommodation. Events, commercial photo shoots and commercial activities require prior written permission.
10. House rules
10.1 The house rules, displayed at the property and available at /en/house-rules, form part of these Terms.
10.2 Quiet hours: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.
10.3 Smoking is not permitted inside the buildings. For fire prevention, lighting fires is prohibited outside the expressly designated areas.
10.4 Dogs and cats live on the property and move about freely. Guests with allergies or a fear of animals should contact the Operator before booking. Guests' pets are not allowed.
10.5 The pool may be used between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm. No glass is allowed in the pool area; plastic cups are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times at the pool and in outdoor areas.
10.6 In the event of a serious breach of these rules and after an unheeded warning, the Operator may end the stay. Unused nights are not refunded, except to the extent the room is re-let.
11. Liability and damage
11.1 The Guest is liable under the general rules of law for damage caused by them or by the persons accompanying them, and must report it immediately.
11.2 The Operator is liable in accordance with the law. Please do not leave valuables unattended in rooms or common areas.
11.3 No security deposit is required.
12. Group and whole-house bookings
Group and whole-house bookings, in particular for retreats, are not made through the booking engine but by request via the form on the website. The Operator will send an individual offer. The contract is governed by the conditions of that offer, in particular regarding price, deposit and cancellation; these Terms apply on a supplementary basis.
13. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
13.1 Complaints can be sent to monteloureiro.ccca@gmail.com. The Operator aims to resolve them promptly.
13.2 The establishment keeps a Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações) in physical and electronic form (www.livroreclamacoes.pt).
13.3 In the event of a consumer dispute, the Guest may refer it to the following alternative dispute resolution body: CIMAAL — Centro de Informação, Mediação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo do Algarve, Edifício Ninho de Empresas, Estrada da Penha, 8005-131 Faro, tel. +351 289 823 135, www.consumoalgarve.pt. The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at /en/privacy.
15. Applicable law and final provisions
15.1 The contract is governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the protection afforded to consumers by the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence.
15.2 These Terms are available in Portuguese, English and German. In case of discrepancy, the Portuguese version prevails.
15.3 Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
